Howdy friends,

It’s that time of the week and there’s some large yet incomplete news to pass on… Note Tuesday night. We’ve been doing Tuesdays at various locations since January of 2004. Looks like we’re coming to the end of the run, at least as it has been. You’ll want to make a special effort to get to this Tuesday at Dunleavy’s Pub. We’re calling it the last hurrah (though we will be figuring out some new way keep something going before long I hope!!) Having started at Carroll Brown’s Ocean Song Cafe on the IOP, then moving to Morgan Creek and finally to the last few years at Dunleavy’s, The regular Tuesday nights are coming to an end. If you want to know what happens when we get something new worked out be sure to stay tuned here. Also if you know others who will want to know, I’ll be happy to add them to the list. I would like to personally thank everyone who made this wonderful night of music possible over the years! There are too many to mention but to say the least, the clubs, the musicians and our most faithful fan Miss Peggy. I feel sure that it won’t be long before something new comes out of this. I’ve had too many good times to let it go easily. But I will say that the future will be different to be sure. Thanks to all who have helped and./or supported us over the years. We will be at Dunleavy’s THIS Tuesday night with Carroll Brown, Gary Hewitt, Myself and as many invited guests as can make it. I have it on good authority that Roger Bellow will make an appearance. He’s the very reason for the name Bob Sachs & The Maniax!!! I can’t wait to get into some of our antics of musical madness!! Not sure of all the others, but a good friend of mine will be in town and is planning to come out as well. He’s a great Dobro player and singer. He made a few Tuesday’s before and we hope he makes this one too!!

So here’s the week (public gigs)…

Monday (tonight) 8pm Home Team BBQ West Ashley – Song Writer’s night!! This is another of Carroll Brown’s Ocean Song legacy events. Always fun!! 🙂

Tuesday 7:30pm til ?? Dunleavy’s pub. Last of the Red Hot Tuesdays with the Maniax (see above) This is gonna be a blow out so come early and get a good seat!!

Saturday at the IOP Marina 6-7:30pm with Clay Rice. Played on his album some years back and he’s a great song writer. We’re gonna have fun so please join us.

Got some other private stuff too so I’m far from bored!! 🙂
