Music Music Music 4-10-2012 – Bob Sachs Music

Hello friends,

If you’ve been missing the music lately you’ve been missing some great stuff. My pal David Owens played Dunleavy’s Saturday night and I made it out and we had a great night. Ted McKee and Bob Tobin also made it out. What fun!! That’s the whole crew from Costa Rica in one place! Then Sunday Ted was out at DD Peckers (as I’ve mentioned he is every Sunday 6:30-9:30) and once again the entire Costa Rican contingent was there. We had a blast and some great music was played!! Then Songwriter’s night was also a blast as usual. Been meeting some awesome young players and writers lately there. Hope you’ll get out to hear some soon!

Tonight – 7:30 @ Dunleavy’s Pub on Sullivan’s with Carroll Brown and Gary Hewitt. Come on out ’cause we’re gonna have a big time!!

Private gig Friday and Dunleavy’s 20th Anniversary on Saturday with TONS of guests all day long!!!

Sunday I’ll be hoping to make it to DD Peckers again (if the good wife doesn’t have other plans). Such friendly folks there!!

So, for the sake of making it easy…
Sunday’s I’m most likely to be at DD Peckers West Ashley with Ted unless I get some other gig (which I have a few of lined up now).
Monday’s Songwriter’s night at Home Team West Ashley unless I get some other gig (which I have a few of lined up now).
Tuesday’s still working at Dunleavy’s on Sullivan’s Island. There’s a various cast of characters that may differ week to week but all great musicians.

I’ll keep you updated weekly with who’s online that week) Been getting in more Bluegrass on Walter’s weeks which is like old home week for me. And I wanna give a special thanks to all the musicians who make this gig possible. CB of course and Gary as the long timers, Walter Biffle as the number one picker and singer who has jumped in as CB has been succumbing to high gas prices and his usual Sundays leaving him little time at home. Probably wouldn’t still have the gig if it weren’t for Walter stepping up!! Also Roger Bellow who has been in several times recently and enjoyed it so much he’s likely to be back.

Bottom line… Come on out and see some great live music and help support keeping it alive in your community. Music is good for the soul!!! Come out and recharge yourself!! 🙂
