Music Music Music 1-9-2012
Howdy folks,
It’s that time of the week. Looking at the schedule ahead… There has been a large development on Monday nights… Song Writer’s Night, that used to be at Sunfire Grill (which closed it’s doors 1/1/2012), has moved. In case you haven’t heard… Songwriter’s night is moving effective this coming Monday 1/9. The new location is very near the intersection of 61 & 171 west ashley, and directly across 61 from where carriage lane intersects.

As for my schedule…
Monday 1/9 8pm til ?? – I’ll be hanging at the NEW location for Songwriter’s night!!
Tuesday night – will NOT be at Dunleavy’s this week (But returning next week) I’ll actually be doing some wood shedding with several friends.
Friday 1/13 – Playing a private gig with my pal Roger Bellow for the Pace Setters in Mt. Pleasant
Saturday 1/14 2-5pm – with Blue Plantation Band –
Other than that things are pretty thin this time of year. This actually works well because there are some things I need to concentrate on including working up some new songs and doing some private playing with friends. With a little work, in the future you’ll likely see me playing with some other folks you may not have seen before (in addition to those I am playing with now of course!!). I also know that for the Bluegrass fans out there I’ll be doing MUCH more with Blue Plantation band this year. If you love Bluegrass music with a touch of Irish and a touch of Swing, you’ll love these guys!
Outside of music, I also have some things I need to get done at home including several projects that will go better during this slow time of year.
I will say that last week we had two fabulous shows/CD Release parties with Carroll Brown. It was great to get up to Columbia and see some folks I’ve missed since last year’s Scotland/Ireland tour. Also had a fun chance after the Charleston show to enjoy a late night jam on Sullivan’s Island. Man, I sure love getting to play music!!! Good friends, Good times, Life is good! 🙂
Hope all is well for all of you!! Hope to see you before too long.
Thanks,
