Hello Friends,

Wow, what a week that was! Tuesday night was particularly awesome with Marci & I joined by Roger Bellow, Andy Norman and even a brief bit with a friend from way in my past, Phil Easterbrook, who has been coming in town periodically and hanging out… well mostly working, but he manages to find time for music too and he’s a great player & singer. Late night brought a conga line through the bar! Friday night we were almost scared off by rain at Coconut Joe’s but thankfully it held off and Blue Plantation had a great night up there as well. Yesterday was also one of the last Sunday’s Ted McKee will be at DD Peckers for a while. NOTE IT IS NOT THE LAST! Joined by Bob Tobin & David Owens we raided Ted’s gig, as we often do, and had a blast playing music there too!

This week is a bit thin on the public side so get while the gettin’s good! 🙂

Tonight is Songwriter night at Home Team BBQ West Ashley (61 near 171). Not sure I’ll make it but I’ll try. Either way there gonna be lots of great music there.

Tuesday @ Dunleavy’s Pub 7:30p – Marci Shore and I will be joined by Andy Norman and any other musicians who might happen by.

Saturday night @ The Joe there’s the Ballpark Festival of Beers where I’ll be with Blue Plantation playing Bluegrass, Swing, Irish and whatever else comes to mind.

Sunday may be the last of the Ted McKee gigs at DD Peckers til after football season. Of course I’ll keep you updated here as things do change. Music starts around 6:30 and the whole Costa Rican contingent (aka the “Call Mama Band” – AKA “The South Carolina Boys” for those in Zancudo) should be on hand with possibly some extra guests to boot.

As I mentioned above, I’ll keep you posted with updates as to what happens with some of these summer gigs that may move to different venues or days. After all, we can’t stop having fun and making music now, can we!! Ok, that’s not really a question!! The answer is no because music is good for the soul, much like hugs are! 🙂
