Played today for the PGA at Kiawah Island. Repeating this Saturday. Had a pretty good night though the crowd was thin. Expect Saturday to be a bigger one. Have to have a PGA pass to get in. What really astounded the band… we were scheduled to play til 9:30pm. We had been watching a lightening storm in the distance for a while and noted it would be arriving soon. At 9:20pm we felt a rush of cool wind, like in the 40mph range, that stayed steady. We knew what was coming and stopped in our tracks. The wind kept up!! We had the whole stage torn down in less than 10 minutes and packed in the cars!!! At 9:30 the sky let loose and it poured hard for a good bit. Talk about just in time!!! Never tore down so quick in our lives!!
