Music Music Music 7-9-2012
Hello Friends,
Another edition of musical musings and madness (AKA where I’ll be this week) 🙂
So I’m hoping the heat isn’t getting to y’all too bad! Looks like it will break later this week. Meanwhile I’ve been blessed with more inside (read that air conditioned) opportunities to play. YAY! Gotta love that.
This week…
Tonight Monday 7/9 I will MOST LIKELY be at Song Writer night at Home Team West Ashley. Either way it’s a fun night. Music starts at 8:00.
Tuesday 7/10 7:30p Back to Dunleavy’s. In my effort to transform myself a bit I’m rotating things around there with some regularity. Want to keep the show interesting while allowing myself to try new things. This week I’ll be on guitar mostly and my good friend Marci Shore will be on fiddle (mostly). Marci stepped in and has had a ton of songs to learn (as have I) and I think she’s doing a great job and getting better by the week. There may be a sit in or two but I don’t expect Roger this week. Hopefully next week, I’ll let you know.
Wednesday I’ve been doing a 1 hour show with Clay Rice, a fabulous artist, singer, songwriter and all around good guy! The show is at Freshfields Village near Kiawah. We start about 7:30 and after the show there’s a movie. The show is right on the green at Freshfields! Fun times! Stories and songs by a great guy!
I’m playing an American Legion Hall with Carroll Brown Saturday night. Haven’t figured out how open the gig is, but I have some other things coming up with Carroll soon so no worries.
Sunday, Good Lord willing and the creeks don’t rise I’ll go hang with friends including Ted McKee at DD Peckers West Ashley. We had a great time this past Sunday with all the Costa Rican contingent and some other great folks!
That’s it for now. Running around like crazy to catch up so I hope to see you out there somewhere!
Thanks for all your support!! Without fans live music dies. You help keep it alive! We all appreciate that a great deal!!!
Thanks,
