Howdy again folks,

Running a bit behind these days. Lots of personal stuff taking up my time. I’ll be back to normal sooner or later. At least I still get to play some fun music with friends… Music is so good for the soul!! I know you know what I mean there!!!

I do have things coming up this week so here’s the quickie rundown…

Last night (oops, I’m late) Songwriter night at Home Team BBQ West Ashley. It’s there every Monday night starting at 8pm!! There are often surprises during the evening. I’ve been blessed to meet and/or play music with some fine writers there!!! Some are regulars, some just drop in from time to time.

Tonight Tuesday 3/27 – Dunleavy’s Pub on Sullivan’s Island. Music starts at about 7:30. Tonight, unless I have lost my mind, is yours truly with Walter Biffle on Guitar & Banjo and Gary Hewitt on Bass. Going to be doing some real Bluegrass along with some old country.

Friday Night March 30 River Boy is playing at O’Brion’s – 520 Folly Road, Charleston, SC. Just so you know, River Boy includes yours truly, Walter Biffle & FB DelPorto backing a fine Charleston area Bluegrassy song writer (Shayne Floyd). We did a CD a little while back and it turned out great, also has gotten dome real good reviews!! He wrote all but one of the songs on it. Gonna be a fun night. Music starts at around 7 or 7:30.

If luck holds I’ll be out at DD Peckers on Savannah Highway with my buddy Ted McKee and probably other folks as well on Sunday starting around 6:30 pm (though I often arrive later, but hey… I’m just sittin’ in! ) We’ve been having a blast there! Mix of Country, Rock, Swing, Blues and whatever else strikes at the moment. (yes, even occasional beach tunes, folk and more)

Hope to see you out there!! Thanks so much for supporting acoustic music in Charleston (and elsewhere) and especially my part in it. I’ve met so many wonderful people through music and continue to do so. Can’t imagine a better way to live!
