Howdy Friends,

Here we go with another week of musical madness… “Bobby Ray” is back at it again! (interesting that even after 2 weeks the doc insisted that I get an xray to be sure the sting ray barb was out.)

Things are looking a bit busier this week. Now have even a few bookings late into the year. Sorry for a short update this week. I’m running later than I thought.

So here goes for this week…

Sunday night 2/26 (used that was last night) Enjoyed and sat in at the Writer’s in the Round at Blue Rose Cafe. Then headed over to DD Peckers where my good friend Ted McKee plays every Sunday from about 6:30 till whenever he’s done (usually around 9:30ish).

Monday 2/27 (Tonight!!) 8pm – Song Writer’s Night at Home Team BBQ in West Ashley. Lots of writers and the music usually goes til 11 or 12. I end up sitting in with several of the writers and enjoy listening to many others! 🙂

Tuesday 2/28 7:30pm – Dunleavy’s Pub – Sullivan’s Island – Hanging with the Maniax (Carroll Brown & Gary Hewitt). We’ll be doing a selection of old country, bluegrass, and whatever else seems to strike us. Come on out!!

Thursday 2/29 – 6-9pm – Poor House Deck (that’s on Maybank Highway, James Island). Portside Still playing on the back deck. A great outside location. This band is Walter Biffle, Steven Sandifer, Keith McCullough, and your’s truly. It’ll be mostly real bluegrass.

Friday night – unconfirmed private gig

Saturday 3/2 Private birthday gig in Charlotte with Walter & Gary.

Sunday – I have no official booking but may just make it over to see my pal Ted at DD Peckers if I can. (see above)

That’s it for now. Maybe I need to send these out on Sunday’s to better cover that day. Seems often to get left off because of last minute gigs.
