Howdy friends,

Well here it is, coming up on that time of the week again. I’ve gotta say, those who missed last Tuesday night missed an AWESOME night. Not only did Jay Miley and Marci Shore make their way in and add to the music, an old friend of mine from 25-30 years back is in and out of town now and he was definitely in Tuesday. I only feel right telling you that you missed it because I know he’s coming back. Not this week though. Hoping real much for next week. I’ll let you know in next week’s installment. Guess I should mention, his name is Phil Easterbrook. He’s an accomplished musician who plays lots of instruments quite well.

Also had fun with my pal Clay Rice on Saturday. It’s a rare treat to hang with Clay and he is an awesome writer!! (song & book nowadays!) 🙂

This week is running a bit thin, but such is January, especially when I was avoiding gigs this month to give my hands some needed respite. Most of you know I have Carpal Tunnel in both hands. I had a bad bout with it in November & December but it has improved a bit so I’m trying to knock off some rust at home that built up while I avoided playing unless I had to. No worries for now.

Here’s what I have that’s definite. If you want a message in case I find someone else’s gig to haunt, let me know…

Songwriters night THIS WEEK ONLY is on SUNDAY night at Home Team BBQ West Ashley. Next week it resumes Monday nights. Always starts at 8pm.

Other than that I may just end up working to finish a few projects at home.
