Howdy folks!

Well I’m a little late this week because things have been hopping. Got some bad news, but there is also some good news that counteracts much of it….

For those who didn’t know already, Sunfire Grill has closed. This is the place that has hosted the Monday Night Songwriter Night for a good while. It’s sad that many people lost jobs/gigs there. I’m keeping those folks in my thoughts as they try to reconfigure their lives and find new employment and hope you will as well. Last night seemed a bit surreal to those of us who met at an alternate location to ponder next steps. THE GOOD NEWS… there are some very good possibilities and so far response from several locations has been very good. I believe we’ll have a home again by next Monday night! YAY!

Tuesday night at Dunleavy’s IS CANCELLED FOR 2 WEEKS but we’ll be back there 1/17.

I WILL be with Carroll at both of the following events…
Wednesday night 6:00-7:30pm only Carroll Brown’s new CD release party at BUDDY ROE’S SHRIMP SHACK on Ben Sawyer Blvd. Mt. Pleasant
Note: Robert Hutto will play his usual gig there after the event and he’s well worth listening to as well!!! I’ll be hanging there for a while.

Thursday night only Carroll Brown’s new CD release party at Puddlin’ Duck (108 Northeast Columbia Blvd Columbia)

Other than a private party on the 7th that’s it for me this week.

Welcome to 2012 (belated Happy New Years!!) and I look forward to seeing you somewhere along the way!!
